Manchester United reject £13m bid from Lyon for Memphis Depay as clubs haggle over transfer fee

- Depay, 22, has made just eight appearances for United so far this season
Lyon have had an improved bid for Manchester United forward Memphis Depay rejected.
The French side have proposed £13m plus bonuses after their opening £11m offer was dismissed out of hand last week.
However, United are holding out for at least £17.5million with add-ons for the Holland international.

Lyon coach Bruno Genesio confirmed the 22-year-old United winger was a priority for his club last week.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are looking at 17-year-old Sheffield United striker David Parkhouse.
United's academy operations manager, Nick Cox, worked with Northern Ireland youth international Parkhouse during his time as academy manager at Sheffield United.
